Staff Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating structural damage, preparing engineering plans, and ensuring the integrity of projects through milestone inspections. This role combines technical expertise with practical application in civil and structural engineering, particularly in restoration and forensic evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate structural damage and prepare detailed reports.
- Develop and prepare engineering plans using AutoCAD and other software tools.
- Conduct milestone inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of engineering assessments and project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex engineering problems.
- Experience in forensic engineering and structural restoration projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
