Job Overview What Youll Do:

• Work with students in a school-based setting to assess and address speech and language disorders

• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

• Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings tailored to student goals

• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and school administrators

• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain thorough documentation, and track student progress

Qualifications & Certifications (Florida Requirements):

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Valid license from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

• Florida Department of Education certificate may be required depending on district guidelines

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
