Your Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information. Your expertise will ensure high-quality patient care as you:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental SOPs.
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate and timely test results.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with alternating weekends as needed. Flexibility to cover other shifts is a plus!

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- Florida Medical Technologist license (required).
- Previous clinical laboratory testing experience (highly preferred).
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
