Work hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

• Supervise fabricators and welders

• Manage all production processes associated with the fabrication of custom-built buildings, racks, and related welded assemblies

• Manage all welding certifications and monitor compliance

• Review all details of each project and assign the proper workers to complete the project

• Participate in the planning, lay out, fabrication, assembly and installation of structural metal parts, equipment and products

Responsibilities:

• Reading blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing structural metal products

• Monitoring the layout and dimensions of all fabricated parts

• Supervising installation of assemblies, doors, windows, HVAC systems, and wall and roof panels in support framework

• Inspecting assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications

• Managing employee labor, attendance, responsibilities, work schedules, and time clock approvals

• HR related items, including hiring, discipline, evaluations and termination.

• Training employees on the use of all shop tools and managing usage and maintenance

• Supervising paint and finishing processes

• Monitoring job schedules and reporting progress to management

• Ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years related experience a must, 10 years preferred.

• Good computer knowledge and MS Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.)

• Working knowledge of welding and fabrication procedures. Welding experience preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, machining and layout techniques, as well as using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
