Data and Reporting Analyst
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (3 days a week)
6-month Contract

Our client is looking for a Sr. Data and Reporting Analyst, where you'll play a vital role by leveraging the company’s data resources to create business efficiencies and insights related to our workforce. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing insightful reporting that drives data-informed decisions. You will leverage your analytical skills to transform complex data into actionable insights, ultimately enhancing our capacity to support and engage our workforce. This role will serve as the Reporting and Data Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for creating reporting/dashboard solutions and contributing to the development of a long-term model for supporting Human Resources data and analytics needs.

Responsibilities
• Develop analytics and assist in translating data into actionable business recommendations. Extract insights, identify trends, and inform decision-making based on data-driven findings.
• Create visually appealing dashboards/ reporting outputs that present relevant information to stakeholders. Ensure usability and accessibility, making data insights easily accessible.
• Train users on dashboard usage and provide ongoing support for data-related queries. Ensure stakeholders can effectively utilize the dashboards.
• Regularly assess dashboard effectiveness. Based on user feedback, enhance dashboards to improve usability and relevance.
• Data Source to Target Mapping: Understand and document data flows and mappings from source systems to target systems. Ensure accurate representation of data.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Stakeholders to understand reporting needs. Translate these needs into clear dashboard requirements that align with business objectives.
• Streamline reporting by automating repetitive tasks. Use scripts or tools to generate and distribute reports efficiently.
• Collaborate with HR Security team to ensure data being shared meets client standards.
• Validate data sources, perform data cleansing, and ensure accuracy in dashboards. Maintain data integrity for reliable insights.
• Troubleshoot errors and provide technical support related to configuration and reporting tools.
• Actively engage in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide data-related input during these events.

Requirements
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Experience with data management, data modeling, visualization, and reporting. Use innovation, best practices, and expertise to enhance visualization and reporting solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft: Power BI, Power Platform, Azure or similar products and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Workday architecture, web services, and business process frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday functionalities and best practices for support and reporting.
• Deep understanding of Human Resources data, including Core, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Benefits, and Talent.
• Ability to design and develop intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that meet stakeholder needs.
• Ability to think strategically about data and how it can be used to drive business objectives.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile methodology and Azure DevOps .
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
