We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator, Programmer, and Master Carpenter to join our growing company & dynamic team. This candidate should preferably have expertise in Biesse machinery or other woodwork manufacture machinery, possess strong skills in programming and operating CNC machines, advanced carpentry skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and design software. We are looking for a positive team player to join our collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate Biesse CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
- - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Use AutoCAD and other design software to aid in programming CNC machines and developing design solutions.
- Perform carpentry tasks including the crafting, assembly, and finishing of cabinetry and custom woodwork.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality output.
- Mentor and guide junior carpenters and production staff in techniques and best practices to.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and carpentry tools to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with CNC programming, operation, and carpentry tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including time, materials, and labor.
- Uphold all safety and quality assurance processes and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a CNC Operator, Programmer, and Master Carpenter, with a strong preference for experience with woodwork machinery.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Program 3axis & 5axis cnc routers on autocad generated drawings design software, and advanced carpentry skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, import, clean & prep DXF files applying consistent layer & tooling strategy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Maintain and evolve standardized tool libraries, templates, and macros in desktop
- Excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and carpentry expertise collaborating with others to lead production.
- Microvellum or 2020 design software experience is a plus, Biesse Machinery knowledge a plus
