We areseeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesia Physician for a locums opportunityin Jupiter, Florida. This position is based at a well-established hospital witha strong cardiac program and a diverse surgical case mix. The role offers aweekday schedule with rotating call and limited weekend coverage.

PositionDetails

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call Requirements:
• Call required for 1 week per coverage period
• Some weekday call
• Weekend Requirements:
• 1 weekend call per month (24-hour call Friday through Sunday)
• Weekends are MD-only
• Trauma Level: No trauma

CaseMix

• Cardiac Cases (Primary Focus):
• CABG
• Valve replacements
• Aortic surgery
• Advanced EP ablations
• Watchman procedures
• Additional Case Types:
• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• GI
• Robotics
• OB (C-sections required; epidural skills helpful but not required)
• Radiology, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, Plastics, ENT, Neurology
• Average Volume:
• 25–30 cases per month requiring cardiac anesthesia with TEE examination

RequiredSkills & Procedures

• TEE (must be TEE capable and certified)
• Arterial line placement
• Central venous catheter (CVC)
• Pulmonary artery catheter (PAC)
• Regional anesthesia

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• TEE Certification required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Active Florida medical license
