We are hiring a Marine HVAC Technician to install, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems on a variety of vessels. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and experience with marine or traditional HVAC systems. This technician will support field service operations, ensure vessel safety, and deliver high quality customer service. Work is performed onboard vessels and in marine environments.
Responsibilities
• Install, retrofit, repair, and commission marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Install electrical and mechanical components for heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose issues with air conditioning systems, chillers, refrigeration units, plumbing lines, and marine systems.
• Provide clear communication to customers and ensure high quality service.
• Identify and resolve airflow issues, refrigeration cycle problems, and electrical faults.
• Complete preventative maintenance, component replacements, and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate work orders, diagnostic notes, and parts usage.
• Follow marine safety protocols and compliance requirements.
Requirements
• Completion of an accredited HVAC technical program.
• Experience in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance.
• Marine HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving skills.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to meet field deadlines.
• Able to work independently and with service teams.
• Comfortable working in marine environments including outdoor and confined spaces.
