We are a nationwide Staffing Firm with over 100 clients and works primarily with Fortune 1000 corporations.Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Opportunity for OT on Friday (not guaranteed, as needed basis)Hourly Rate: $19-23/hrBenefits: As a Contract Employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes Paid Time off, Paid Holidays, 3 Medical Plans to choose from, Dental, & Vision Plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) Plan.Job Description:A Production Assembler performs proper operation of test, assembly equipment and/or ensures that all calibration tags are up to date.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembling various parts into a semi-finished or a finished item
- Disassemble or assemble and test injectors and pumps
- Demonstrate knowledge of torque wrenches, pressure and flow gauges, lapping machine, wash tanks, tumblers, grinding, black oxide, pneumatic impact tools, calipers, scales, tape measures, and electric and air operated hand tools
- Read schematics, blueprints, perform basic math
- Follow verbal or written work instructions, standards and/or QWI’s consistently, accurately, and safely
Education and Training:
- High School Education or GED
- 0-1 years of experience
Qualifications and Experience:
- Basic PC knowledge for data entry
- Forklift and/or crane experience
- Problem solving ability and ability to apply reasoning and common sense for appropriate resolutions
- Must be familiar with manufacturing environment, with use of industrial equipment and mechanics, heavy structural assembly, and ability to use various hand and power tools and measuring devices
