Job Summary: Electronic Assembler/Production

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a HVAC parts/circuit board manufacturing company in the Ft Myers area. This is a great company with room for growth!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electronic Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in soldering and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs). This position plays a key role in the assembly and testing of electronic components used in HVAC control systems and related parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and full circuit boards according to blueprints, work instructions, and schematics.
Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components with precision.
Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to ESD and safety standards.
Perform rework or repair defective units when necessary.
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to identify process improvements.
Use hand tools, soldering irons, multimeters, and other test equipment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required, technical training or certification in electronics a plus.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronic assembly.
Proficient with both through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to work from schematics and technical documents.
IPC Certification (e.g., J-STD-001) is a plus but not required.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods.

Position Type: Full Time Temp to Perm

Benefits: Full benefit package

Pay: $18.00

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
