Seeking a part-time Advanced Wound-Care Nurse Practitioner (1099 contractor) to become part of our team. You will focus on providing high-quality patient care and will be trained in advanced mobile wound care procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat wounds
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform focused physical examinations of patients
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialists regarding patient care, including following up with referrals

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Florida license
  • Driver’s License
  • Personal Vehicle

EXPECTATIONS

  • Have a great bedside manner
  • Respond quickly to company requests
  • Complete the required certification for wound care and additional training (paid for by the company)
  • Complete notes within 48 business hours
  • Work under the direction of a physician
  • Be able to work as a 1099 contractor
  • Drive your personal vehicle for extended distances across local area
  • Must be willing to invest a full-days’ worth of work for a minimum of once per week, same day every week
  • Assist moving immobile patients if required
  • Maintain biotechnology materials until such inventory is used on patients
  • Provide basic wound care supplies
