Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC field service, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to various equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to service and repair, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments on various HVAC equipment to identify issues.
- Execute repairs on various systems including air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Install new service equipment as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to design effective solutions for complex problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs and the services provided.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to repair and service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the field of HVAC repair or equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration techniques, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to client locations.
