We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our upscale plastic surgery office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. As a key member of the front desk team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients. This position offering a competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact by warmly greeting patients and visitors upon arrival.
• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
• Verify patient insurance information with accuracy and efficiency.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily calendars to maintain organized operations.
• Provide concierge-level customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with care.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and file organization.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to support office functions and documentation.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Collaborate with medical staff to streamline patient flow and address scheduling needs.
• Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a medical or plastic surgery office.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with extensive experience and a detail-oriented demeanor.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to accurately verify insurance information and handle patient records.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience with systems or similar platforms is required.
• Flexibility to work varying hours as needed, including Monday through Friday.
