PART TIME POSITION (M-F: 7AM - 11AM) We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This is a contract position within the higher education industry, offering an opportunity to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff while maintaining a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact by greeting parents and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Manage building access by buzzing visitors in and coordinating with the security gate for parking entry.

• Answer intercom calls and provide clear directions to assist individuals entering the premises.

• Receive and organize mail deliveries, ensuring timely distribution to the appropriate recipients.

• Handle incoming deliveries and coordinate with staff for proper acceptance and storage.

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to uphold a detail-oriented appearance.

• Provide administrative support by answering multi-line phone systems and addressing inquiries.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform data entry and manage correspondence.

• Assist with organizing files and maintaining accurate records.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

• Proven experience in administrative assistance or front desk coordination.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate and manage multi-line phone systems efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to handle deliveries and manage mail distribution processes.
• Skilled in data entry and maintaining organized files.
• Familiarity with concierge services and security gate operations.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.
