Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in the Cape Coral, FL area for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract role supports K-12 students, providing essential psychological services within a school district setting, with assignments that may include itinerant work across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Writing detailed reports based on assessment findings
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
- Managing caseloads across assigned schools, with flexibility in location assignments
- Utilizing school-based experience to inform testing and intervention strategies
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
- Demonstrated experience with psychological assessments, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work collaboratively with educational teams
- Strong communication and reporting skills essential
Role details:
- Location: Cape Coral, FL (serving multiple schools in the surrounding area)
- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY), with an anticipated assignment from ASAP through June 1, 2026
- Work Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
- Position requires on-site presence only
