Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their team in Palm Beach County. This is a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit firm environment, gain hands-on litigation experience, and grow with a team that values both professional development and client results.
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation
- Draft and review discovery documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Handle scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
- Assist with case management, including maintaining organized case files
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff
- Provide strong customer service and maintain professional client interactions
- Work closely with attorneys and staff
Qualifications
- Prior experience in personal injury or insurance defense (litigation or pre-suit)
- Florida-based legal experience required
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Litigation experience preferred, but candidates with pre-suit experience and willingness to learn will be considered
- Positive attitude, strong references, and ability to thrive in a small office environment
- Customer service or hospitality background is a plus
