A K-12 school in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC certification to support students in a contract capacity for the current school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population across all grade levels, providing essential speech and language therapy services within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy across the K-12 spectrum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract role for the contracted school year.
