Job Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant (Clinical Floater) 1 to 2 days per week to join our clinical team. This position primarily supports patient care and clinical operations, with the flexibility to assist in other areas of the clinic as needed to ensure efficient patient flow.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical duties to support providers and patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and escort patients to exam rooms
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed
- Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure proper infection control
- Support clinical documentation and assist with medical records as needed
- Provide phone support and assist with patient communication when required
- Collaborate with front office and administrative teams to support clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and patient care standards
- Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and assist in various clinical and support roles as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment
