We are a fast-growing aggregate crushing company thats proud to serve our loyal customers with quality products and dependable service. Our 20 mobile crushing crews travel from site to site, turning rubble piles into custom screen sized crushed aggregate to meet each client's unique needs. Our fleet of heavy machinery is critical to our success and is maintained through an extensive and proactive maintenance program. As we continue to grow, we are looking for hardworking team members who are passionate about supporting field operations and helping us operate more efficiently every day.
The Role:
As our Heavy Equipment Fleet Manager, youll oversee the maintenance, repair, and readiness of our entire heavy equipment fleet, including crushers, loaders, excavators, and stackers. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring our crews have reliable, safe equipment at every job site. Youll be responsible for everything from preventative maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination and relationships, to emergency parts acquisition, equipment lifecycle management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all heavy equipment
Coordinate and track repairs (planned and emergency), ensuring quick turnaround to minimize downtime
Review Inspection Reports and prioritize safety issues
Maintain organized digital maintenance records, including service intervals and parts used
Manage vendor relationships for fuel, parts, services, and emergency repairs
Track equipment hours and usage to plan replacements or major repairs
Support driver and operator training on equipment safety and pre-trip inspections
Use maintenance management software to keep accurate digital records and generate performance reports
What Were Looking For:
BI-LINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH IS A PLUS
3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or fleet management
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems, specifically CAT, Komatsu and John Deere is a plus.
Organizational and multitasking skills
Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments
Proficiency in maintenance management software, Calendar scheduling, Microsoft Office, and digital recordkeeping
Ability to coordinate work in a team atmosphere and make proactive decisions
Familiarity with OSHA (1910 & 1926) and DOT regulations (preferred)
