Established (30+ years) Employee-Owned Mechanical Contractor Seeking General Superintendent (HVAC hydronics) in Tampa, FL
An established, employee-owned Mechanical Contractor based in the Tampa region with over 30 years in practice is seeking a General Superintendent (HVAC) with experience overseeing hydronic water systems for HVAC. This role will manage large-scale healthcare and hospitality projects in the $10M-$35M range, including new hospitals, medical office buildings, and medical labs. The position covers both retrofit and new construction, with a focus on chilled water systems rather than standard AC.
Offer:
Salary of $100k -$130,000 depending on experience

Qualifications:
5-10+ years of experience in mechanical contracting and HVAC hydronics
Deep technical knowledge of chilled water and hydronic HVAC systems
Background in healthcare, medical office, or hospitality projects (no condo or apartment experience)
Strong leadership in large-scale projects ranging from $10M-$35M
Ability to manage multiple projects across the Greater Tampa region
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple large-scale healthcare and hospitality HVAC projects from planning through completion
Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project schedules to ensure quality and on-time delivery
Coordinate hydronic system installations such as chilled water systems for hospitals and labs
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Collaborate closely with project managers and foremen to drive successful outcomes
