Randall Electrical - Titusville is currently seeking qualified Commercial / Industrial Electrical Superintendents to work on large projects along the Space Coast (Private Space Industry / CCSFS / PAFB).
Position Summary
A commercial electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing electrical construction projects. Their duties include supervising the planning and installation of electrical systems in new construction projects in commercial, factory and industrial buildings.
Experience Required
- Six + years of combined experience leading large commercial / industrial electrical projects.
- Possess a journeyman Electrician license.
- OSHA 10/30 or higher.
- GED or equivalent diploma.
- Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites
Essential Functions / Qualifications
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Must be able to train, coach and lead lesser skilled Tradesmen.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in buildings and construction projects, ensuring compliance with national and local electrical codes.
- Coordinate with managers and other construction professionals to develop and implement electrical plans and timelines.
- Manage and direct the activities of electricians by assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Inspect electrical equipment and systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of electrical operations, including project progress, resource allocation, and compliance documentation.
- Administer budgets for electrical projects, including projecting and tracking costs for labor, materials, and equipment, and controlling project expenditures.
- Capable of operating Lull and excavation equipment is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean, insurable driving record (if position requires that you operate a Company Vehicle)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
