CDN Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing structural engineering projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. Experience in residential design is greatly preferred
```Responsibilities```
- Design and analyze structures using software such as AutoCAD and FEA
- Perform calculations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes
- Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices
-Shoring / Reshoring Design and Inspections
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or EIT)
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, GIS software, and other relevant engineering tools
- Experience with project management and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client interactions
