Single Moms – Single Moms Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Maintain flexible schedule to be available to meet with clients in evenings or weekends when necessary.
- Coordinate, support, and assist in hosting Single Moms events, as assigned
- Coordinate and streamline Christmas and special events for Single Moms
- Coordinate meals and childcare needs for Single Moms Skills Classes
- Provide for special needs of client families as prescribed by the Family plan of service.
- Assist in preparing facilities as families prepare to move into and/or out of the program.
- When requested host volunteers, tour groups and visitors and give presentations to churches, civic groups, etc.
- Coordinate with Single Moms supervisors on any needs (phone calls, check requests, logs, filing, meal preparation, etc.)
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, individual meetings with supervisor, and generals staff meetings.
- Understand and support the principles and concepts of therapeutic community among staff and clients.
- Manage all background screening needs for all program applicants
- Respond to and collect data of Single Moms Program inquiries and referrals
- To perform such other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Has and will maintain a current driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (6 points or less).
- Culturally competent and sensitive to differences.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced Education Preferred

- Have the ability to work with frequent interruptions and in stressful situations; ability to responding; crisis situations.
