Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time School Psychologist position supporting elementary students in a dynamic educational setting. The role focuses on delivering psychological services across two elementary schools with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate both on-site and remote work.
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Assignment Type: Contract (1/5/26 5/29/26)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, with a 2/3 day split between two elementary schools and one remote workday option
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist in crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist license
- Prior school-based experience in Florida is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability working with elementary-aged children in educational environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school teams
