Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in North Port, FL. This contract role is for the full school year and focuses on supporting students with moderate to severe needs, including managing behavior challenges. The caseload includes a diverse age range from pre-kindergarten through 22 years old.
Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, delivering direct speech and language services, and providing consultative services. The SLP will also be responsible for supervising a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who will assist with caseload demands. Participation in IEP meetings and facilitating Medicaid billing are integral parts of the role.

- Current licensure/certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with students with moderate to severe speech and language needs

- Proven ability to supervise an SLPA effectively
