Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. is currently seeking an enthusiastic Workers Compensation Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience.

Qualifications/Competencies

• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to delivery of high-quality work product
• Proficient use of technology and automation resources, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior insurance defense and/or workers compensation litigation experience
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from case inception through trial/resolution
• Conduct legal research and supervise research projects delegated to paralegals
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients
• Negotiate settlements
• Minimum 3 years of dedicated workers compensation experience
• Proven ability to manage workers compensation caseloads
