Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology Technologist with vascular experience to contribute expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position requires a Florida license and offers the chance to work a 4x10 schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, managing a daily caseload of 20-30 cases. The role necessitates weekend and on-call coverage with an expected 30-minute response time and access to on-call sleeping accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, vascular and neurological studies, and stroke thromectomy
  • Utilize PACS systems for imaging and documentation
  • Apply skills in contrast administration and biopsies
  • Ensure patient care and safety during procedures in accordance with best practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Cerner EMR for charting and patient management
  • Adhere to infection control and COVID-19 vaccination policies (exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license in hand (pending license candidates accepted)
  • Minimum of 1 year of vascular interventional radiology experience
  • Certification by ARRT and current BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast media administration, and a broad variety of IR procedures
  • Ability to respond on-call within 30 minutes and work required weekends
  • Experience with stroke intervention, neurointerventions, and oncology-related procedures is highly desired
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
