Reynolds & Reynolds, P.A. is seeking an experienced real-estate closing paralegal who can manage residential and commercial transactions from first contact through post-funding. Key Responsibilities
- Intake & File Setup – Open new matters, order title commitments, gather contract documents, and create critical-dates calendars.
- Title Review – Identify exceptions, clear title issues, coordinate lien payoffs, and secure estoppels, HOA letters, and municipal searches.
- Closing Coordination – Draft settlement statements, prepare closing packages, schedule signings, and communicate with all parties (buyers, sellers, agents, lenders).
- Escrow & Disbursement – Balance files, wire funds, issue checks, and record documents to ensure timely funding and policy issuance.
- Post-Closing – Finalize recordings, draft and deliver owner & lender policies, reconcile ledgers, and archive files in compliance with Florida Bar and CFPB regulations.
- Client Service – Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, status updates, and problem-solving throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Florida real-estate closing experience (residential and/or commercial).
- Proven ability to run a file independently from contract to funding.
- Title agent’s license (FL) highly preferred; willingness to obtain a plus.
- Deep familiarity with closing software (DoubleTime, Qualia, SoftPro, or similar) and e-recording platforms.
- Strong command of settlement statements, TRID/CD requirements, and Florida title standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a client-first mindset.
- Professional fluency in English; Spanish a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year for full-time (commensurate with experience).
- Job Type: Full-time, on-site. Possibility of part-time if 25 hours or more a week.
