Job Description

Reynolds & Reynolds, P.A. is seeking an experienced real-estate closing paralegal who can manage residential and commercial transactions from first contact through post-funding. If you thrive on keeping every detail of a deal moving smoothly—and you enjoy working face-to-face with clients, lenders, and brokers—let’s talk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intake & File Setup – Open new matters, order title commitments, gather contract documents, and create critical-dates calendars.
  • Title Review – Identify exceptions, clear title issues, coordinate lien payoffs, and secure estoppels, HOA letters, and municipal searches.
  • Closing Coordination – Draft settlement statements, prepare closing packages, schedule signings, and communicate with all parties (buyers, sellers, agents, lenders).
  • Escrow & Disbursement – Balance files, wire funds, issue checks, and record documents to ensure timely funding and policy issuance.
  • Post-Closing – Finalize recordings, draft and deliver owner & lender policies, reconcile ledgers, and archive files in compliance with Florida Bar and CFPB regulations.
  • Client Service – Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, status updates, and problem-solving throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Florida real-estate closing experience (residential and/or commercial).
  • Proven ability to run a file independently from contract to funding.
  • Title agent’s license (FL) highly preferred; willingness to obtain a plus.
  • Deep familiarity with closing software (DoubleTime, Qualia, SoftPro, or similar) and e-recording platforms.
  • Strong command of settlement statements, TRID/CD requirements, and Florida title standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a client-first mindset.
  • Professional fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year for full-time (commensurate with experience).
  • Job Type: Full-time, on-site. Possibility of part-time if 25 hours or more a week.
  • Paid vacation
  • Health Insurance Stipend

Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
