Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) with expertise in neonatal intensive care to provide critical support in a Level 4 NICU setting. This contract position involves delivering specialized respiratory care to cardiac transplant patients, emphasizing advanced clinical skills and passionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapies and treatments tailored to the needs of NICU patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage plex respiratory conditions in cardiac transplant neonates.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings based on patient response and clinical guidelines.
- Provide thorough documentation of patient care and respiratory interventions.
- Participate in patient care planning and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory.
- Experience working in a Level 4 Neonatal ICU setting.
- Skilled in respiratory care for cardiac transplant patients.
- Ability and willingness to work night shifts.
- Pediatric respiratory experience is not required.
