Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Avon Park, FL. This position is set for the current school year (CSY) and involves working directly with students to support their developmental and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluate students occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve student functioning.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise.

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license.
Experience working in school settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of pediatric OT practices and school-based therapy services.
Ability to work effectively with children across the K-12 spectrum.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
