Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of repairs, preventive maintenance, and customer service tasks to ensure our property is safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily work orders and respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
- Conduct general repairs, including:

- Plumbing (clogged drains, leaks, fixture replacements)
- Electrical (outlets, switches, lighting)
- Carpentry (doors, cabinets, drywall patching)
- Appliance repair
- Painting and drywall touch-ups
- Assist with HVAC troubleshooting, filter changes, and seasonal maintenance.
- Complete preventive maintenance on units, building systems, and common areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, shop spaces, and inventory.
- Ensure property grounds are clean and safe, including trash removal and minor landscaping.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or facilities environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- HVAC background and/or EPA certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
