Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available, offering a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students through comprehensive psychological services. This contract role is based on-site in Cape Coral, FL, with potential itinerant assignments across multiple schools within the district, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessments
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to address student needs
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
- Experience with school-based psychological assessments preferred
- Strong skills in report writing and conducting evaluations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage caseload effectively, potentially across multiple locations
