Job Description

Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a respected law firm in Miami, FL seeking a Temporary Attorney to support its Financial Services Litigation Team. This position is 100% remote, but the attorney must be able to commute to the Miami office 1–2 times per month. The role is expected to last several months and may transition into a permanent position (note: this is not a partnership-track role).Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

  • Attending virtual or in-person court appearances

  • Managing deadlines and monitoring case progress

  • Communicating and providing updates to clients

  • Engaging in settlement discussions and negotiations

Qualifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida (required)

  • 2+ years of litigation experience preferred

  • Experience with case management, motion practice, and client communications

  • Financial services litigation experience is not required – training will be provided

  • Must be comfortable working independently and managing deadlines

Pay Details: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour
