Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday
- Training: First 3 weeks on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to support our 3rd shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and product evaluations in compliance with established procedures
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, and related regulatory standards
- Process, investigate, and document product nonconformances
- Support first article inspections, qualifications, and process validation activities
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications
- Utilize basic inspection and measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, torque testers, thread gauges, go/no-go gauges, gauge blocks, and scales
- Maintain accurate records and controlled documentation within electronic document control systems
- Follow written procedures, work instructions, drawings, and forms
- Prioritize work effectively while adapting to changing production needs
- Collaborate respectfully and professionally with team members
- Comply with all company policies, safety rules, lean initiatives, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in plastic injection molding, medical device manufacturing, or component manufacturing preferred
- Hands-on experience with product quality compliance requirements
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing and/or assembly environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma required
- Prior Quality Inspector experience in a cGMP and ISO 13485 environment preferred
- IQMS software knowledge highly desirable

- Closed-toe shoes, jeans, and t-shirt required
- Hair and beard nets may be required
