- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments for urgent care and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding practices.
- Proficient in using EHR systems for documentation and record management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage appointments.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the medical field.
- English and Spanish fluency are required.
