Compassion Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Liaison at themasters levelto join our team. Candidatescurrently pursuing a masters degree in a mental health-related fieldare also encouraged to apply, as they will receive supervision as needed.
The Clinical Liaison is a key member of our PHP/IOP dual-diagnosis treatment team. This individual collaborates closely with the clinical team to support the care and progress of clients engaged in ourPartial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP)programs. This role includes facilitating therapeutic groups on topics such as CBT, relapse prevention, life skills, and process groups.
In addition to group facilitation, the Clinical Liaison will assist in completing clinical documentation including Biopsychosocial Assessments, Safety Plans, and Treatment Plans. This position also provides coverage for therapists who are out and supports with overflow caseloads as needed. Furthermore, the Clinical Liaison will maintain asmall ongoing caseload of 57 IOP clients, ensuring continuity of care and therapeutic support.
The ideal candidate is proactive inAMA (Against Medical Advice) blocking, communicates openly with the treatment team, and brings a supportive, team-based approach to client care. This position offers the opportunity for continued professional growth through regular supervision and hands-on experience across various therapeutic modalities.
Requirements:
- Masters degree (or currently enrolled in a masters program) in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to meet clinical documentation and scheduling expectations.
- Passion for working with clients experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with group topics such as CBT, Relapse Prevention, Life Skills, Creative Expression, Psychosocial, Experiential, and Process Groups is preferred.
- Experience with KIPU EMR system is a plus.
- Level II background screening required.
Schedule:
- Guaranteed1520 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule may be arranged after onboarding, typically involvingblocks of 35 hours per day.
- Availability required MondayThursday between 9:00 a.m. 7:45 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
