Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Working Field Superintendent for a project in Plant City, FL.
LONG TERM POSITION!!!
- PAY: $35-45 hr (based upon experience)
- HOURS: 40+ /wk
- TIME: 7 am -5 pm
- DURATION: Temp-to-perm
- START DATE: ASAP
JOB OVERVIEW FOR FIELD SUPERINTENDENT:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role requires hands-on experience in managing construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
RESPONSABILITIES FOR FIELD SUPERINTENDENT:
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and coordinate resources effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as JobTread for project tracking and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Review contracts and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to blueprints and schematics.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including construction estimating and cost tracking.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, address challenges, and foster collaboration among team members.
- Train and mentor junior staff and subcontractors in best practices for construction management.
REQUIREMENTS FOR FIELD SUPERINTENDENT:
- Proficient in construction management software including JobTread, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations related to construction safety.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong supervisory experience with proven leadership capabilities in a construction environment.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FIELD SUPERINTENDENT:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
