Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for skilled Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a valid FL State License and SLP-CCC certification through ASHA, to serve K-12 students across multiple school settings in Deltona, FL. This contract role spans from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with both full-time and part-time positions available, including opportunities to cover maternity leave and other full-time vacancies.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
- Valid Florida State License in Speech Language Pathology
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within educational teams
- Flexibility for itinerant assignments, depending on part-time role specifics
Position Details and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students ages K-12
- Positions available across elementary, middle, and high schools including partial and full-time roles
- May include itinerant caseload management for part-time positions
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Support students in various school settings to enhance speech and language outcomes
Location and Work Environment:
- Based in Deltona, Florida within Seminole County public school district boundaries
- Primarily on-site with some potential hybrid work arrangements
