We are seeking a Paralegal Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule clients for office consults, government interviews and hearings
• Prepare clients for immigration court hearings, USCIS interviews, etc.
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Imput biographical data in immigration forms
• Research on internet for country conditions and articles for asylum application
• Monitor that clients meet deadlines set by immigration judges and USCIS in Requests for Evidence
• Record and store client information

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paralegal in immigration law is a great plus
• Familiarity with legal forms
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Russian preferable, BUT NOT MANDATORY.
