Temporary Maternity Coverage
Miami near the Airport
Start date: Approximately late March / early April
Highly-respected Miami law firm located near the Miami Airport is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 12-15 weeks likely beginning in late March or early April.
- Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Professional Attire
- Hybrid: Remote Wednesdays & Fridays
- A laptop and equipment will be provided for remote work days.
- Free Parking
This position will directly support the Managing Partner, who handles complex commercial litigation, employment law, and contractual business litigation. You will also work alongside four others who support the managing partner, two associates and two paralegals, in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include:
- State and Federal court filings
- Scheduling, calendaring, and docketing
- Coordinating hearings and managing deadlines
- Litigation case support
- Billing entry (input only)
- Other standard legal administrative tasks
The firm prefers someone with experience using iManage. They also use Law ToolBox and MyCase (for billing entry), and will train if needed.
