About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to join our project management team. This position oversees field operations for luxury commercial interior construction projects throughout South Florida and occasionally across the East Coast of the United States.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual professional (English and Spanish) who excels at managing diverse teams, maintaining construction quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role requiring exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and personnel
- Manage subcontractors and field teams to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Maintain detailed project timelines and proactively address issues or delays
- Enforce strict safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily site meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager and executive leadership
- Perform quality control inspections and maintain an organized job site
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and clients to resolve design or construction challenges
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections
- Travel to job sites along the East Coast as needed
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in luxury commercial interior construction
- Proven ability to lead field operations and manage subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar platforms
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regionally along the East Coast
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
