CONCRETE CUTTER / SAW OPERATOR

Craftsmen Contractors is hiring a Concrete Cutter for the Melbourne Area

We are looking for a concrete cutter or saw operator, that specializes in cutting concrete, asphalt, and other hard materials 

Job Duties:

Responsible for the installation of structures and fixtures, could include windows and molding.
Take the measurement and cut materials to build forms for pouring concrete
Experience with vertical concrete (pouring walls, columns, formwork)
Provide support to concrete foreman.
Being able to transform solid structures into precise shapes and sizes is a plus.
Responsible for operating electrical, air-powered, and regular hand tools during projects
Responsible for carrying out general construction labor tasks
Provide support with fabrication during projects

Job Requirements:

Must be proficient in measuring and cutting, because the pre-made form sizes don’t always match the exact structure dimensions. MUST HAVE EXPERINCE.
Must have experience in using a variety of saws and tools, including wall saws, flat saws, and wire saws.
May have to be able to carve out niches where walls shouldn’t be or even shaping future doorways.
Must have at least 2 years of Form / Concrete Carpentry experience.
Must have basic hand tools, ALL PPE and reliable transportation to get to job site.
Must have a working knowledge of the various methods used to assemble all major types of forms.
