Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This contract role spans the entire school year, starting ASAP through May 28, 2026, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students across all grade levels.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in school-aged children. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that tailor support to each students unique needs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current SLP certification and licensure to practice in Florida
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Proficiency in conducting speech and language assessments and interventions
- Ability to collaborate with an educational team including teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage a full caseload effectively
