Mini Excavator Operator

Job DescriptionQLM is currently seeking mini excavator operators in Fort Myers, Florida!
Key Responsibilities

• Operate mini excavators to complete trenching, grading, and excavation tasks
• Excavate and backfill for underground utilities, foundations, and site work
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Follow all site safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Assist with material handling and site prep as needed
• Work closely with site supervisors and crew to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating mini excavators (commercial site work preferred)
• Strong knowledge of safe equipment operation and jobsite safety standards
• Ability to read site plans and follow instructions from supervisors
• Experience with trenching, grading, and working around utilities a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• OSHA 10/30 certification
