Job Description:
- Seeking an Automated Test Equipment support engineer.
- Duties include supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used during optical and electrical checks for the production unit.
- Additionally, the Engineer will support root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails.
- Upon determination of the root cause, the Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered career or journey level.
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Power Electronics
- Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Production
- Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Electrical Testing
- Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with User Acceptance Testing
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Validation Test Plans
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
- Familiarity with Troubleshooting test equipment with schematics and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
