Key Responsibilities (Role Focus)

Design & Implement Cloud Solutions
Architect secure, cost-effective, high-availability infrastructure using Azure services (VMs, App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, etc.). -
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
Automate resource provisioning with ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI. Maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or similar tools. I -
Monitoring & Performance Optimization
Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure Advisor, etc., to track usage, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Implement cost-control measures. -
Security & Compliance
Implement IAM (Azure AD), encryption, network segmentation, and enforce policies aligned with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA. Enforce governance, audit, and policy compliance. -
High Availability, DR & Backup Planning
Design multi-region, fault-tolerant architectures; implement backup strategies and test disaster recovery plans. Edstellarjobed.ai -
Troubleshooting & Support
Resolve escalated issues (Tier‐2/3 support), perform root cause analysis, document processes, mentor colleagues, and serve on-call rotations. -
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with development, architecture, security, networking, and business teams to support migration, modernization, and solution delivery. -
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, coding standards, and best practices. Support training and onboarding of junior team members. Nexus IT
Qualifications & Skills
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field (or equivalent experience) (if applicable). Nexus IT

Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, compute, AKS).

Proficiency in Infrastructure‐as‐Code: ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform.

Scripting experience: PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash.

Strong experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, artifacts, repos) or similar CI/CD tooling.
-
Knowledge of cloud networking: VNets, subnets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, load balancing, VPN.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS, Kubernetes).
-
Hands-on experience with Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
