Plumbing Designer Opportunity | Fort Myers, FL
 
Client is seeking a Plumbing Designer for its Fort Myers, FL branch office. This role involves working on designs for commercial buildings, government facilities, and K-12 schools.
 
 Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform plumbing design calculations and produce contract documents, including isometric riser diagrams for sanitary and domestic water systems.</li>
<li>Conduct technical comparisons and other required technical tasks.</li>
<li>Coordinate project assignments with engineers and technicians.</li>
<li>Review drawings from vendors, clients, engineers, and architects; recommend necessary changes.</li>
<li>Research code issues and collaborate with City, State, and County officials.</li>
<li>Explore design options and document findings for engineers.</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.</li>
<li>Familiarity with NFPA codes.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.</li>
<li>3-5 years of experience in plumbing design is preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
