About Us

We’re a mid‑sized, family‑owned HVAC company serving southeast Michigan for over 25 years. Our tight‑knit team takes pride in honest work, personalized service, and building long‑term relationships with our residential and commercial customers. We value craftsmanship, safety, and a supportive, professional culture.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with both residential and commercial experience to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems. You’ll travel to customer sites, diagnose problems, and deliver high‑quality service that keeps our clients comfortable year‑round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on residential and light‑commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, rooftop units, ductwork)

  • Install new equipment—including residential furnaces, central A/C, packaged rooftop units, and VRF/mini‑split systems—according to manufacturer specs and local code

  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant circuit issues using gauges, multimeters, and pressure testers

  • Conduct system performance tests (airflow, temperature differentials, static pressure) and adjust settings for optimal efficiency

  • Identify and explain necessary repairs or upgrades, providing clear estimates and recommendations to customers

  • Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory logs, and time sheets in our field‑service software

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and refrigerant-handling regulations (EPA Section 608 certified)

  • Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of combined residential and commercial HVAC service experience

  • Valid HVAC EPA Certification; additional NATE certification preferred

  • Proficient with electrical controls, refrigeration cycle theory, and mechanical diagnostics

  • Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and in tight mechanical rooms

  • Strong customer‑service skills, professional appearance, and clear communication

  • Reliable driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background/fingerprint check
