Fortiva Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an 136-unit apartment community in Tampa. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone skilled, reliable, and ready to get this property in a good condition.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and repair appliances, water heaters, plumbing, and general apartment issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose and fix problems.
• Repair electrical components, plumbing, drywall, and building structures.
• Complete make-ready tasks after move-outs.
• Respond to emergency calls when on-call.
• Keep simple records of work completed and parts used.
• Select and pick up parts or supplies when needed.

What You Need

• Strong plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Reliable vehicle and smartphone.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, plus on-call rotation.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to retrieve and enter data to a computer or Smartphone App
• Knowledge of basic safety rules and building maintenance procedures.
• Speak, read and write fluently English
