Resident Manager (PBG)

Luxury Multifamily | West Palm Beach, FL

We are seeking an experienced Resident Manager to oversee operations and maintenance for a luxury multifamily property in West Palm Beach. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the building runs smoothly, residents are well served, and all systems, staff, and vendors perform at a high level.

About the Role

The Resident Manager works closely with the General Manager to maintain strong property operations, maximize resident satisfaction, control expenses, and protect the long-term condition of the building. This position plays a critical role in daily operations, maintenance oversight, vendor management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property and maintenance operations
• Manage all work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment turns
• Conduct regular property and systems inspections
• Supervise maintenance staff and third-party vendors
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and vendor contracts
• Ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and inspections
• Support long-term capital planning and building upgrades
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
• Maintain accurate records in property management systems (Yardi, BuildingLink, etc.)

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multifamily maintenance or property operations leadership
• 5+ years of hands-on building maintenance experience
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems
• Experience working in a union environment and with third-party staffing vendors preferred
• Proficiency with property management and maintenance software
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required licenses or certifications (CFC 609 preferred; others as required by local code)
